The stunning gold dome atop a white stucco cube is the exterior trademark of the Chapel of St. Basil. The interior features of the 6,800 square foot chapel are accented by the effects of the natural lighting from the angled skylight over the alter, the slot in the dome, the chimney-like light over the statue of the Virgin Mary, and the clear glass cross set into the west wall. The chapel seats 260 worshipers.
